Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, parts of Norfolk and Essex.

What method of carpet cleaning do you use?

Hot water extraction - or commonly know as steam cleaning. This is a wet cleaning system that injects clean water and extracts dirty water.

Do you really do a 9 stage carpet cleaning process?

We honestly do. Sometimes more than a 9 stage process. It's all about the preparation and pre-clean prior to the steam clean and extraction - for a deep clean and good result!

Can all stains be removed?

We carry a professional selection of advanced stain removers so many stains can be removed. Some stains are permanent and therefore impossible.

Can all odours be removed?

The answer is normally yes. We deep clean the carpets and our advanced detergents leave a fresh clean smell. We also spray the carpets with a deodoriser. If for example urine or sick has penetrated to the underlay then some smell will remain as it is trapped. Under these circumstances the carpet should be lifted and investigated.

Does professional carpet cleaning cause the carpet to re-soil quickly?

If the incorrect detergent is used or the detergent is not rinsed out then this can happen. We only carry professional carpet cleaning detergents that do not cause rapid re-soiling. We always rinse the carpets to return them to a safe pH

How long do carpets take to dry?

Carpet drying varies according to thickness and composition. Temperature is also a big factor. Wool and wool mix carpets take longer.

We put electric fans on after cleaning to speed up the process.

Do you move furniture?

Yes we can move all movable furniture that you require cleaned under. We do ask that the room is a clear as possible prior to the clean.

Are you insured?

We definitely are! £1,000,000 public liability and accidental damage.

I need an End of Tenancy Carpet Cleaning Service. Can you help?

We provide an End of Tenancy Carpet Cleaning service. We can also offer a service for pet owners (de-infestation and deodorisation). A certificate is given to the tenant to produce to the agent or property owner.

Do you provide a receipt after cleaning my carpets?

Yes we always provide an invoice detailing the work carried out and the cost.

How long does it take to clean carpets?

That really depends on the job. It takes 20 minutes to unload and set up and 20 minutes to pack away. The average time on a job is 2 hours. A large house can take up to 5 hours. A very large house can take all day. As a rough guide a 3 bed semi takes about 2.5 hours.
